Two places...worth a visit

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary - it's free to get in, the only thing that costs is the animal show, which isn't optional, but is fun for children. Don't think it's that expensive (my memory is bad at the moment). Here you can feed kangaroo's - red ones and pure white ones, yes, you read that correctly. They aren't albino's either. You also get to feed ducks. They have a big ish platypus pond and if you're lucky, you may even see some koala's. I love it at Warrawong as it's so peaceful. I'm rubbish with directions, so it's best to go on google maps for directions (it's about 20/30mins drive out of city centre).

Hahndorf - a little german village, full of quaint tourist shops and restaurants. It's an amazing place and you don't feel like you're in Oz. Well worth a visit:
