      Million Paws Walk

      Event description

Join the RSPCA for the Biggest Doggy Day Out of the Year! Make sure you and your pooch don't miss out on socialising with Adelaide's who's who of the dog world!

On Sunday 17th May at Elder Park (free car parking north of Adelaide Oval) come and walk with thousands of animal lovers - all enjoying a scenic walk along the River Torrens. Choose from a 2km or 5km walk then enjoy hours of entertainment, doggy demonstrations, doggy washes, doggy games and a chance to win a year's supply of dog food thanks to Hills Science Diet.
Last year over 5,000 people walked and raised $90,000 which helped to care for the thousands of animals we receive at our Animal Shelter each year. Let's make this year even bigger!

It's a great day out (well for the dogs ;) ) and it's a for a good charity.

Just follow the link and register.. http://www.millionpawswalk.com/event-info/locations/sa/

Hopefully see some of you there...

We did this last year - it was a lovely day out. If you're coming by car, the back streets of North Adelaide (just North of the Cathederal) are pretty good for "free" parking.

Would love to do this but if our dog saw any small white fluffy things (aka "snacks") she might eat them and we wouldn't be too popular with their owners (plus I'd worry about one sticking in her throat and choking her....)
Sometimes the grass will appear greener on the other side because it has been fertilised by bull****
