Not to try and confuse you further, but I'm definitely on the side of 'do it if you can'. We did it ourselves last September, and I'm so glad we did. There was never any doubt about us wanting to live out there, but I'm glad we had the opportunity to take a bit of the mystery out of it, and some it was a complete eye-opener. It was not all what we expected it to be - and I have to say that in some aspects, we were slightly disappointed. And in others, we were completely bowled over! I consider it an investment in our future - when you go for good, it costs a lot; both emotionally and financially, and you have to be sure that it's the right place for you and your family. What price peace of mind?
