Hi

Just to say hello. We found this site by accident today, and have to say it is nice and easy to navigate.

We are in our early 40's, pretty well-travelled, having lived in New Zealand and Perth over the past few years.

Having spent time in Adelaide, we are now looking at a move over there in the not too distant future.

We work in the commercial vehicle parts aftermarket and mental health nursing respectively.

Hello to all you fellow-prospective Adelaiders, and good luck to those of you going through the migration application process.

Best wishes:)

Hi M & P and welcome to PIA. Glad you came across us. You can pass on your first hand experience of moving home so dramatically. We have moved counties but never moved countries before, let alone continents.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Yes, we have enjoyed living in a couple of different places, great experience.

We would probably still be over in Aus now, but sadly had to return due to family ill-health. Guess alot of you will understand that, and how difficult such things can be when you are thousands of miles away.

Perth was great, but as we are comparing things now with a view to finally returning, house prices there have shot through the roof, and on a recent 'rekkie' it just seemed so busy, with so many new migrants and tons of building work going on. Still nice though - don't want to put anyone off!

So, here we are, getting the low-down on Adelaide!

All the best

Hi guys, welcome to the site. If you find your way to Adelaide soon, come and meet some PIA members at Hallett Cove Uniting Church every Friday at 10.30am.

I wish you the best of luck with your move.

Hi there

and welcome to the site. We think we'd be financially better off in Perth , but think the climate and the city of Adelaide would be better for our family , fingers crossed eh!
