      Red face new to this

hey! i am 25 years old and have been living in adelaide for 4 months now. I live in Hackham West which i have heard is not great but dont seem too bad for us, as we live in a gated complex also its a big step up from birmingham! he he. I am here with my new husband and our gorg daughter olivia, who is 10 months old now. my family ( mom, dad and sister) have been over on holiday for christmas and new year and after 4 fantastic weeks they went home on the 4th. I miss them so much i dont know what to do with myself. havnt stopped crying since. the worst of it is my little livvy doesnt understand and i hate that i cant hold the tears back. been trying to find some mother and baby groups today but had no luck. if anyone knows of any, itd be great to hear from you, or even just a chat, would love to meet new ppl. hope to hear soon

      Hi Laura,
You need some friends, that will cheer you up. Its lovely when relatives come over because they can share your new life for a while, and then when they get home they will know what you are talking about when you mention places etc. But it is a big miss when they have gone.
There is a group of mums that meet up at the play centre at Beach road, one of them will reply I'm sure. I am trying to get down there at some point, as I look after a 1 year old. Hopefully you will get some replies from here. Also pm me if you would like to meet up.
