Hello all!!

 

I'm Mandi...

 

I'm very new to forums so please bare with me while I learn the ropes!! (it may take a while lol)

 

I live in Lincolnshire UK and really really want to move to Adelaide!!

I've visited twice, most recently in Dec '09 when I got married in Adelaide (Moana Beach) and fell in love with the local area. I'm a registered nurse, specialising in oncology & haematology and my hubby is an electrical engineer. We are planning on moving to Adelaide, preferably Seaford/Moana area probably early 2011, so I thought I'd get on here and hopefully get to know a few things and speak to people who have or are going through similar expereinces.

Hi and welcome to PIA, weve just left lincolnshire (tattershall) are heading to adelaide on friday. My wife is a nurse and worked at pilgrime, but was seconded to do teaching at lincoln hospital twice a week. where abouts in Lincoln are you from and which hospital are you working at, obviously once my wife is settled she would be able to give you a comparrison between uk hospitals and aussie hospitals however i dont think there will be much contest lol.

Welcome tp PIA it is a treasure trove of information with loots of people at various stages of living or trying to get out here...and they are all very willing to shjare their info and experience with others.

 

Juast ask away and i am sure you will get some replies to pretty much anything you ask..

Hello mandi,

 

As already mentioned this forum is better than having your very own reference book / encyclopedia !! For some people even better than their Case workers, .

 

Anyway, my family and I are in Liveropol and are waiting on our visas, like others I have lived your way, but Sutterton Lincolnshire, when I was school age tho, and have been back to visit friends and also gone camping there too, now just waiting to go camping in Oz, depending on the 'friendly' wildlife

 

Keep an eye out you can just pick up little gems of info, if you do, make a note them somehow, either copy and paste to a word doc etc as I learnt the hard way and have found it hard to trawl back through the pages and pages of suggestions etc to find the info I saw previously.

 

All in All if its not on here no one has asked it or experienced it yet in my opinion
