My family and I are in the VERY early stages of considering Australia as our new home.

 

We will be attending the Emigrate show on the 6th March - anyone else going!??

Hoping to get a lot more information from that event, has anyone been before? any good?

We are going to expo-Australia in Manchester later in March, although I think the jobs are predominantly for health care, there is meant to be a lot of information re housing, visas, finances etc, we will see.

 

Anyone else going to the Manchester one?

Looks like we'll be moving A LOT sooner than we thought!!

 

I have now realised I have LOTS to do, thinking OH CRAP but OH YEAH at the same time - emotions all over the place!

What skill are you coming over with??? Can you apply straight away for PR? If so don't rush over on a provisional visa. You may regret it. Life here, especially if you have a family, is so much easier with PR.

Good to here you have a job offer shows you skill is needed.
