Just arrived!

We arrived in Adelaide a week ago. We are an Engaged couple of 43 and 44 with no children. Would like to make some friends, get to know a few people. We have just rented an appartment on West Beach. Anyone close who would like to make contact, we'd be glad to hear from you - maybe show us a few good places to go out for a drink/meal etc..

Hi welcome to the site and Adelaide

 

We rented in Tennyson for a while but are now down south in Moana, we liked west beach, have you tried Henley square yet? it has some nice cafe's Also Brighton Jetty cafe runs wine tasting nights in the winter these are great fun 4 course meal and all the wine you can drink.... (obviously no good if your not drinkers!!!)

 

Hope your settling in well and the jet lag has now gone!!!

Well we have only been in Morphettville for 3 weeks....but have lived in next door area for 2 years!

 

We like it here...pretty quiet...i think the local pub is good!! and on the tram and bus lines!"

If you haven't sorted out bank accounts the commonwealth bank in adelaide is great and Morag will help you sort alsorts out~shes great,helped us heaps
