Hey! Two weeks till arrival. All alone.

Hello. I'm Leigh, 27, and I'm going to be arriving in Adelaide the first weekend of September (only just over 2 weeks) and I'm moving over on my own.

If there's anyone interested in grabbing a drink or something then I'm up for pretty much anything. Hopefully will be able to make some meets on here in the near future and meet some new people.

Am looking forward to getting back to Adelaide as I've spent about 4 weeks there in the past and loved the place from the off. Can't wait to get the job and rental search under way.

Anyway I've rambled on a bit, just wanted to introduce myself properly, and can't wait to start a new life!!

I have noticed a 'single ppl' thread on the socialising section that seem to have a few beers and nights out...might be worth a look at that!

I feel I must clear one thing up from the off though. My name may be misleading, I'm male

and I blame my parents for the spelling of the name, I've confused people hundreds of times, especially starting new schools and colleges.

Anyway I hope that doesn't put anyone off wanting to socialise with me LOL.

Mitchell, wow another person from Dorset going across. Can't believe you're only flying a few days after me.

I think a huge meet needs to be organised for mid September. Such a shame that I'll miss out on the 'young/single' peoples meet on the 28th August.

I've got to start packing boxes soon. So much to do, so little time...

Right with you mate!! We are off on the 6th Sep. Can't quite believe its going to happen as we have been waiting for this for over 2 years. I think we are ready, we are lucky as we have good friends already in Sellicks Beach and will be staying with them till we arrange a rental house. Got to the point of not being able to sleep and worrying about things but on the other hand we can't wait to start our new life down under. Good luck to all and see you there!!
