I have been looking at different threads in this forum for a couple of months now, but havent really posted much. We are a family of four, two children aged 10 & 2 from Sussex. We made the decision to look at emigrating in Febuary 2011. Originally, we were going to go to the sunshine coast in brisbane - because we have family there. However, my husband works for a great company and has been lucky enough to have been offered a transfer to the Adelaide office. We have literally only received the formal offer last week, so we are at the very beginning of our process. We dont even know what type of visa we will be offered, although i imagine it will just be a 457. The important thing is to get out. If its just a 457 then we may even try and apply for permanent based on my skills, thats providing the regional sponsored for Adelaide still contains my occupation. I guess we are lucky to be in the position to have employment for one of us to go to.

It would be great to meet some people if anyones near Sussex. Im bursting with excitement over the whole thing but am unable to really talk to family about it for obvious reasons.
