Hi Guys

 

I am flying out on the 28th (OMG) and will need to get myself a car. Can anyone recommend or has anyone brought a car from a good car dealer anywhere in the south suburbs, OH is already there so could start looking about. I am not too fussed about the make of car for now just need an estate to stick the dogs in if they are ever released from their prison terms :biglaugh:

Have a look at drive.com.au that should give you an idea of what is about for your price range in the area- it has dealers and private sellers.

Also, look at http://www.carsales.com.au. and at http://www.redbook.com.au - it's a useful site for pricing model, make and year of used cars. It doesn't always give a true reflection of what a car will cost you as used car prices vary over the country but is a helpful starting place. Sorry can't help with a dealer recommendation. I think dealer cars automatically come with a 3month warranty but check that when you buy. If you end up buying privately, good idea to get an RAA check - costs a bit but worth the peace of mind - http://www.raa.com.au/page.aspx?TerID=157.
