Moving in Jan

Hi we are moving to Adelaide for a year. Husband going to work in royal Adelaide hospital. We have 2 children a 5 year old and a 3 month old! I really want to live by beach but getting conflicting advice about where to live!?! can anyone recommend ? Getting vv stressed by whole thing!

Your best bet is to book some short term accommodation for when you first arrive (have a look at the accommodation available section under Real Estate on here) and then have a look around. You'll find it's hard to make a firm decision on where to settle long term without seeing a place for yourself, and everyone's advice - unless they know you 100% - is only an opinion! One man's meat and all that! Don't panic, you have plenty of time to get something sorted

If you have never been before get a short term rental somewhere central and then drive around the areas to see where you like (beech/city/hills ect). Take a look on realestate and look at areas within your budget to rent and look at the map option to see where these areas are. you can then route check them on google maps to get an idea of travel times to work ect. Once you have a few areas in mind google those areas and you will get a fair bit of info from wikepedia ect on what the areas are like what shops/transport links, schools, they have ect, ect.
