Hi im an Art teacher teaching Autistic children art in London and my son is emigrating in October and would like to follow but im getting older and do not know how to find teaching jobs in Adelaise. In the UK we go to the TES is there similar in Adelaide?

No unfortunately not. Sometimes there will be the odd advert in the international section of the tes but as they are on hols until endish of Jan there won't be anything for the moment. There is the DECS website for state school jobs, and the private schools seem to have vacancies on their ownj websites. There is a website that lists all the schools in SA on it, sorry on phone for tim e being, but if you Google 'schools in SA' you may be able to find it i will pop back and do a link for you in a couple of days.

 

Are you thinking of balance of family visa, or a 175/176 of your own? Schools are not so quick to sponsor visas anymore as they don't need to as much, although sen apparently is still in need
