Hi

I thought I'd say Hello. I'm thinking about a move to Oz, although probably Melbourne for me.

My Mum is thinking of moving to Adelaide as she knows a few people there and my brother and his family are there. My Mum is retired and currently has quite a nice life going walking with the local walking group, playing bridge, meeting friends for lunch and days out. Is there much for retired people to do in Adelaide? She has some friends there already, but would need to do things/meet other people.

Thank you

Gwen

Hi, there appears to be quite a few things for your mum to do here. At the local library (The hub of the community, Tea tree gully) has a good range of activities that may interest your mum.

Here is the site, to save you googling, (I know what it is like)

This is their leaflet - http://issuu.com/cttg/docs/whats_on_april_may_june_2012-web?mode=window&backgroundColor=%23222222

This is their website - http://www.teatreegully.sa.gov.au/page.aspx?u=1015

Cheers

Mike
