Hi all, just looking for some general advice, my partner, our baby daughter and I are coming from scotland in september. We are looking to stay around the adelaide area - ideally anywhere from around 30-45mins or so from the city.

Can anyone offer some advice as to how they went about arranging rental (initially looking for a short term until we can secure employment). I've contacted a few estate agents but not heard back from them yet.

Our flights are booked for the 12/09/12 so we best get organised - as we have 8 month baby we need to have somewhere to stay before we arrive to give us a base for checking the area out.

 

Also my partner is a hairdresser so if anyone has a salon and would be interested in hiring or know someone we could maybe contact that would be great.

I personally work in local government admin just now but would be willing to try anything at all, done a fair bit of labouring etc when we travelled OZ a few years ago (much preferred that to sitting in an office) however I'll do anything to bring in wage in

 

I also would like to play football (or soccer) either five aside or amatuer, does anyone on here take part in any leagues or regular games?

 

I know I've asked a few questions but

any advice / pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Try some people on here they let out short term accommodation you only need it for 2=3 weeks till you get long term accommodation. Try this will give yop their info.
