Hello Adelaide!

Hi all,

 

just quickly wanted to introduce myself. I am moving out with my partner to Adelaide later this year. She is originally from Adelaide.

 

We're both currently living in London, but can't wait to get out of here and decided Adelaide was the place to move to. Our decision wasn't too difficult, with her originally from there and me also having family there.

 

We hope to find our feet quickly and are looking forward to a new/old experience.

We are thinking of renting in Brighton or surroundings at first. In the long run we'd like to buy a bit further south. How about you? Good luck with your move too!

I.m an east, north east girl. We.re hoping to get a place in banksia park so the kids can go to that school. I.m not a huge fan of the beach. Happy to visit it a few times a year and that's it lol my family are all north east so never go south much at all! I.m looking forward to having proper summers again though! The weather here at the moment is awful! Lol

I love the beach and can't wait to be able to go for daily walks there. I am looking forward to the sea and also the weather. Generally don't mind the weather here, but this year has been exceptionally grey and today is unbearable. I always get headaches when it is like this, waiting for the thunderstorm to clear it.

Yes it's miserable in the UK but the winters here are pretty grim too but there is an end too it can't wait for those 30+ days all summer long :-)

The worst winter we have known in 12 years here.We don't normally get a s many wet and grey days.

 

Must admit it has been getting down a little this year but you can't do anything about it!

It's not winter though in the UK...this bad weather and flooding is our summer this year! No looking forward to 30 degree days for us...
