not sure which visa we will apply for (clueless!) but hoping we could get some ideas from this site. we are both mental health nurses so should be o.k.hoping for some assistance re:process from oz employers but is it job first or visa first? thanks and see yer

Everyones case is different I'm afraid, do you know if your job is in demand (MODL) or even on the SOL (state occupation list)

 

I think your jobs will be fine but in our case it had to be visa 1st, once we knew how many points we scored in the skills test

 

We do have an agent who helped us through the process

Hi

 

As Angela said everyones case is different, we are going on Skilled 136 Visa as both mine and the OH Job is on the MODL. We would have loved to go on the sponsored employer visa (457) but found difficulty getting sponsorship from companies because of the types of job we do.

 

We were told by our agent that if we applied for the 136 we could run the 457 alongside.
