Moving from Sunshine Coast to Adelaide :)

Hi all,

 

Moved from Scotland 9 years ago, did a reccy trip before and selected the Sunshine Coast, as it is so beautiful and warm and typically Ozzy. Our trip did include Adelaide at the time but we fell in love with the Coast. n coming down to friends we have at Henley Beach both in Winter and Summer ( just left 45 degree heat) we have fallen in love with the culture and how close everything is.

 

Husband runs his own successful building firm specialising in renovations and I am a Commercial manager. we have decided to see if we can get work or I have and if fate allows then get a job, get a rental and move.

 

Anyone else done this and moved interstate ? I am very resourceful and have done a lot of research and have friends there too. We are looking at suburbs that are family friendly, quiet and have a Crossfit nearby

Adelaide is a friendly state with lots of potential!

 

You state that your husband runs his own successful building firm - very welcome to have him in Adelaide! - atm we are looking for builders for some renovation work - not yet met the right one.....

suggest Hallett Cove and South of there, lots of building in Seaford towards Aldinga, easy access to CBD, good community.
