Hi & welcome to PIA!
I have recently completed my process & remember the start of it all & feeling completely clueless!! Everyone on here have been fantastic & very helpful, we all seem to help eachother as we all have the same goal!!! It's time consuming but stroll along the different threads, as there have been many many questions asked & you may find useful answers within the replies already on here.
I'm a nurse too, so if you want any info regarding any of the application process please just ask (although I can't comment on schools etc as I have no children). I went for the skilled nominated permanent subclass 190 visa, with SA state sponsorship & hope to head out there later this year!
"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending"
ANMAC assessment submitted 2/2/12 received 19/4/12. Skilled Nominated (Permanent) subclass 190 visa applied 12/9/11 granted 2/11/12. AHPRA registration applied 18/5/13 eligibility received 12/7/13. 3 week visa validation & research visit 21/9/13. Leave one way to Adelaide 23/02/14!!!! Start new job 24/03/14!!!
Definitely apply for Permanent Residence less hassle ,less cost and you won't need to leave the country to get your visa stamped.
also if you have kids you will get family allowance straight away :-)
Hi Mandy, congratulations on getting your visa! Very exciting!
