can somebody please tell me how much a taxi from the airport to adelaide town center is also is it cheaper to hire a car from england or wait untill we get over there also i have a old paper driving licence do i need a photo driving licence

When i hired a car last year i did it through Thrifty and booked online via their Australian website which believe it or not was fractionally cheaper.

 

Taxi's to town are about $20+, it's only about 6kms to the CBD.

 

You could always be adventurous and catch the bus from the airport to the CBD.

The J1 sevice takes you from the upper level of the terminal to Currie Street and will cost you $4.10.

 

Don't worry about your paper licence, it will be accepted no problem provided you have a passport to accompany it.
