Hi guys,

 

I am new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself..

 

Although I am not a pom, I lived in London (Peckham of all places – yes, Delboy and Rodney). I really enjoyed my time over there.

 

I am from Cape Town and have been in Australia for almost 2 years. The first 19 months I spent in Sydney, but had enough of the lifestyle and packed the family up and headed for Adelaide.. and absolutely love it here!

 

I’m 31 years old, wife is 29, daughter( 2.5 ) , son (3 months) and my stepson is 11. We are staying in Pasadena and I work in Unley. I work in IT and my wife is still off work for a few more months.

 

Off the top of my head.. some of my interests include:

 

Keeping fit

Cycling (commute to work)

Football (although I haven’t played for a few years, I’m a big Man u fan)

Home brewing (just started this about a month ago)

BBQ’s and beers

Spending time with family

Enjoying the beach

Fishing ( keen to start)

Property investing

Meeting new people and socialising

 

I look forward to seeing what this forum has to offer me, in terms of meeting other likeminded people.

Hi welcome to the forum. My OH is into cycling and home brewing too - when he gets home later I'll get a link to the forum he goes on and send it through to you. In the meantime, have a good browse through the forum, and feel free to contribute to anything that takes your fancy...

If you and your family are keen cyclists - or even if they're not - this is a good thing to go on http://www.bikesa.asn.au/EasterCycle - we used to go on it when our kids were younger, really well organised and a great way to meet other families.
