Hi,

 

That's us been here in Adelaide since Saturday morning and our initial reactions are all positive.

 

Surprised how much the kids are enjoying it as it has mostly been shopping and looking at cars!

 

We're staying at Henley Beach and it is a stunning place. Wandering down to the beach front for a coffee or a late-night beer has been wonderful. Difficult to separate the holiday resort feeling of the place from the 'We could actually live and work here' reality.

 

The hardest part was not having internet for the first couple of days and trawling between cafes to try to get a free wifi hotspot. It is unbelievable how much we now rely on the internet.

Hi Diane,

 

Thankfully the last coupe of weeks in Glasgow were very dry and sunny for packing the house and doing all the last minute running around. The packers struggled a bit loading the container as it was about -3 and one of them had no gloves.

I guess you couldn't have picked a better week weatherwise! enjoy the beach but watch out for this Ausie sun it'll get you every time! we're just down the road in Glenelg and tend to stay away from the beach after 9am and before 6pm we've done the lobster look a few times!
