Leaving Northern Ireland for Adelaide adventure!

Hi guys,

 

I am a 28 year old male and will be moving to Adelaide with my Aussie partner in November this year. Will be living in the Northfield area for a while.

 

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

I work in the IT industry so any advice on the job front would be helpful.

 

Anyone else on this from Belfast/Northern Ireland? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. What do you do IT wise ? as Sydney and Melbourne tend to be the two major hubs for IT.

I mainly work in IT Support/Infrastructure/field work. Yes I've heard that but my other half is from Adelaide and wants to live there for a while as she has been in the UK now for 4 years.

I have worked previously in Brisbane on my working holiday visa and found work quite easy.

Yes my other half is from Adelaide and all her family are there. I dont know anyone from the area so it will be a new adventure for me I'm very into my sport and especially football so hopefully I can join a team and hopefully make some friends.
