newbie looking for info

hi all

finally got around to joining in so here goes,we are at the stage of waiting to be issued a case officer but it seems to be taking forever (4 weeks so far ).i had a month in adelaide jan 07 loved it,hardest thing was having to leave,we are looking at living either at hallet cove or noarlunga,we have two kids josh 13 & georgia 10,are these area's ok and is there plenty for them to do.being a keen scuba diver does anyone know the rule for bringing my diving kit in.also josh is big into his match fishing are ther any clubs and again wots the rules on fishing kit,any advice would be helpfull cheers.

You will have a longer wait yet. We applied for a visa 27th October, got a CO 6th March and still waiting for a decission.

Hi and welcome to PIA. Not sure about the rules on fishing kit but husbands Joinery kit needs thouroughly cleaning inside and out and if its not up to customs standards they will charge us for more cleaning! Dont know if we'll take our fishing kit or buy new- Its pretty archaic!!!!!! Hope you get the info you are after Yvonne x
