Hello

 

My name's Georgie and I'm about to apply for my working holiday visa to Australia! Once my visa gets approved, I'm looking to travel to Adelaide and work/explore for up to 12 months. It's quite the adventure for me as I've never been 'travelling'; only holidays. I know lots of people who have moved to Oz and stayed, or returned to England with a new lease of life. I'm going to be looking for someone to stay with temporarily, or a fellow traveler who would like to share.

Sounds exciting!.....I'm not sure this is the best place to find people to travel with, nearly everyone on here are people who have or are planning to emigrate.

 

My niece used this website last year http://www.travel-buddies.com she traveled se Asia, Australia, New Zealand and India she met up with lots of people and made lots of new friends!

I came to Australia (and visited Adelaide as part of my trip) on a working holiday visa back in the 90's and had a fantastic time and have some great memories. I enjoyed my time here so much I emigrated to Adelaide 10 years later!
