Thank you all for the advise personally and also myself looking into website stuff. 5 days to go. anxious as well as excited. starting work in 2 weeks. I hope 10 days enough to secure a car and long term rental. Wife and kid would follow once ground work done. Feels like I am already missing UK. Thanks once again.

Ten days is unlikely to be enough to secure a long term rental, but you shouldn't need much more. Good luck.

As Blossom said you may need a bit more time for a long term rental - your wife is very trusting to leave it to you.

 

There seems to be a shortage of larger long term rentals in Hallett Cove at the moment.
