Arriving September 2015

We are new on here and arriving September 2015, we are staying at Tamaras place for a few months until we find something permanent. We have a 4 year old girl and 7 year old boy and hoping to get the children into Port Noarlunga Primary School .. It's been a long journey to get here I think we started the process in 2009 but we finally sold our house before Xmas and taking a few months to do a few Europe trips as once we are in oz we don't plan on moving back  We have a cousin in Glenelg and friends of friends in Aberfoyle Park.. We would love to hear from anyone with similar aged children and any top tips, recommendations on where to settle as we had originally thought Aberfoyle Park area but do like the sound of Port Noarlunga.

We stayed in one of Tamara's houses in Port Noarlunga back in August on our reccie. The area was wonderful & we currently can't decide where to settle - it's between that area, or up in the hills - Around Nairne.

 

We're currently stuck in the UK waiting for our business to sell before putting the house on the market, but fingers crossed towards the end of this year we should be making the move too. We have 2 boys, the youngest is 4, and the oldest is 7 in a couple of weeks.

It does look lovely how far is the drive to Adelaide? I currently work in Manchester City Centre so used to a 45min journey stuck in rush hour. Good luck with business and house sale and keep in touch. I am not sure how to add contacts.

 

We havent been to Adelaide but we have been to Sydney, Melbourne & Canberra, Adelaide seems more affordable when it comes to buying a house, a few of the people we know (friends of friends) are actually from the town here we live in.. its a small world
