Hi there, just arrived in Adelaide, been here 1 week and loving it already. Living in Glenelg but struggling to find pubs with proper pints!!! Any suggestions??

A few of us were out in Glenelg last night....!!! Was a good one too! Havent found any places in Glenelg with proper pints but there is an english bar in the city that does called the Elephant!

Measurements of beer in South Australia:

 

Australian Pint = 17floz

English Pint = 20floz

 

Drinks are measured in Pints, Schooners and Butchers.

 

Schooner = roughly half a pint

Butcher = third of a pint

 

Other states have different measurements.
