The hardest part is here. The tears and heart ache is worse than I could have ever thought. I still can not believe we are doing this!!

BUT.... not once have I thought we are doing the wrong thing, even though the tears now.

I am dreading today but looking forward to tomorrow!!

Good luck to those still here and Hello to everybody there!

Hi

We know how you feel, we havejust spent the last 5 days saying goodbye to friends family and to each other, I finished work last Thursday, we had a farewell party on friday for friends and family, Dave said his goodbyes to his Mum and then had to leave me and our daughter at Heathrow on Sunday, he is now on his way to Adelaide and should almost be landing very soon.

It has been a very tearful weekend, with more to come. I am not flying out until the 28th August so I have yet to say farewell to my family and daughter.

I now have the lovely job of packing everything up, although I am off to Portugal this weekend for a week to spend some time with my sister. It will be good to get away from all the packing and farewells and just sit back and relax for a week.

It is very hard saying farewll, but you have to stay positive and take the best wishes with you.

It wil be hard leaving our home where we have spent 29 happy years but it's want we want to do and now is the time to do it.

Dave wil be starting his new job on Monday 14th July and I only wish I was there with him but time will fly with all the packing and sorting out to do.

I wish everyone well who moves out to Australia and will be there soon enough to share the experience and start a new chapter in our lives.

Good luk and hope to meet up with some of you soon.

Jacky (from Dave&Jacky) at home, sat in the cold and watching it poor down!
