IEA assesment completed May 08

SA sponsorship granted Aug 08

Completed house sale 11th Aug 2008

176 Visa submitted 11th Aug 08

About to organise medicals/police checks in hope that they may be called sooner rather than later!

We can't wait to come out and spend probably too much time looking at Realestate.com

Thanks for welcome. Spend ages on here already ... its interesting reading other people's frustartions about their visas. Once you've made the decision to go you just want to get on with it. It seems thatabout 11 months is about average for people on here but there are so many different types of visa there seems to be no real guide - perhaps this is our first lesson on how to be an aussie ... relax it'll happen!!!

Im wishing my time away until I can go back to the uk for a visit !!!

Hope to go Aug/Sept 09. Just looking at flights and very expensive for a family of 4 between $9,800 & $10,050 - today.

 

Hope all goes well with the visa but make the most of family and friends while still in the uk.
