8.5 hours away from the start of our new life in Adelaide!

Well we're sat here at Hong Kong International Airport awaiting the second and final leg of our journey to Adelaide. After 18 months of planning we finally get the chance to jump at that new and exciting lifestyle you've all been talking about so fondly for what seems like ever.

 

We get in just after 9am on Sunday (26th April) and will get straight into registering our business, searching for a new home, and getting all those vital t's crossed and i's dotted.

 

Thanks one and all for your insightful information over past months - you've been a great help. Now it's our turn to get stuck in and offer advice and suggestions to existing and prospective migrants across this wonderful city in which you live.

aww thanks all. You're right: we're here! And miraculously the clouds have lifted and while the wind is howling, at least we have glimmers of sunshine to welcome us.

 

Couple of hours to kill in the airport while we wait for our apartment to be readied: I'm loving the free wifi. Just the ticket to bore and bother you all with.

welcome to adelaide and the weather is meant to get brighter by the end of the week . its not been a bad autumn so far (excluding the past few days lol but we do need the rain here as they keep saying :0))

 

you will have a hectic first few days/weeks but dont forget to take time and enjoy it and relax x
