Change your clocks AND your smoke alarm batteries!

Recommended Posts

Hi,

As well as clocks going back an hour tonight it's a good idea to change your smoke alarm batteries as well.

I was at Bunnings this afternoon and the local Fire Service were there collecting money through a sausage sizzle...with the proceeds for burns survivors.

Smoke alarm batteries generally get changed at the beginning of April every year. I bought a few duracell triple packs for less than $12 a pack which is cheap for a life!

I have smoke alarms in all the bedrooms as well as lounges. Even the hard wired ones have a battery back up. Replacement smoke alarms are only about $8 for a basic model.

Maybe make a plan to put them on your shopping list!

Sleep safe...every night!

Tamara
