Hi guys really need to get some information about bridging visa 887.one of my friends applied for 887 visa and he got a confirmation saying that application received but he did not receive a bridging visa . It's been couple of days now. He went to the immigration as well and they also have no idea what happened an asked him to wait for bridging visa. Right now no visa for him. Has anyone experienced something like this??? Really appreciate if someone can help . Thanks guys

Hi guys . I applied on 4 Jan 2016. Case officer allocated on 20 May . And got the grant on 07 July 2016. After 9 years in aussi finally got it. This thread is very useful . i think you need to be in Australia to get the granT. They will probably wait until u come to aussi. Just explain to the case officer your situation by email . Hopefully you will get good news

hi mate i think you need to get new passport. if you apply through immi account u can't go forward with the application without a current passport. if you provide false date that will put you in more trouble , all the best

hi guys, just want to update , i applied on 4 january 2016 and a case officer was allocated yesterday. asking AFP clearance again and form 80 , evidence of living and working in designated area. (487 to 887). cheers

Hi mate u can use statutory declaration to prove that you stayed with your friend. Plus if u have any bills under your name , you r fine. U just need to prove that u lived in designated or specific regional area .

hi as I remember someone got information about vacation duration from immigration. According to immigration policy we are allowed to get 3 weeks a year.(6 weeks for 2 years.)if we spend more than that we need to stay back to apply.

Then u need to Color scan and email them . Hope for the best cheers

hi mate ielts valid for 3 years. And if it's expired u need to book a test again I think. But if your wife has conducted any diploma or degree in English medium she can use that as a replacement for ielts results. All the best
