  1. Thank you. I have a 2 yo kid born in my home country and was already included in the application when I lodged it. My son and wife came here as tourist and applied 489 as subsequent entrant where they both had their medicals done. Re photos, I have attached a few for residential evidence to show that during when I was unemployed I was in my designated area. I also attached photos with front and back with my signature on it. I thought it's better to have more. I also added stat declaration as I was living in my brother's place during the 2 year period - no bills, rents records. The rest are all 54+ payslips, Bank Statements and Supers.
  2. Hopefully everyone gets their PR grants soon! I just got mine. Applied date: 8th April 2018 Grant: 30 May 2019 CO Ashish, you legend! Can't thank the people in this forum enough. It could have been a lonely wait if not for you guys. I really hope everyone gets it soon we don't deserve the wait.
  3. Maybe this month's quota has been reached?
  4. Looking like another drought season is coming our way.
  5. Does anybody know where my golden email is?
  6. Hi guys, Has anyone applied Bridging Visa B to travel? What was it like? How many days/ weeks did the immigration gave you to stay overseas? Was there any implications to your visa? Thanks. Regards, Marcus
  7. Does the immigration even realise how much stress they are putting to each one of us?
  8. Thanks. Amazing how these delays can kill the possibility of any reapplication of the visa. I think it's unfair. I lodged my application on my 3rd year and in a month my original visa will expire. Anything that will happen against my application and that's it. If only they could act quicker I would not have to think about the whole thing now as hit or miss. Frustrating.
  9. Why not Delfin? I always wanted to ask the same question. I'm interested to know the answer.
  10. Wait, even if the subclass 489 is still in effect, not the bridging visa? I've lodged my application last April and until now paying private health insurance. I want to get rid of the extra expenses if possible.
  11. Hope everyone is having a great weekend in spite of all visa headaches still coming our way. Just a question, I made some errors on my Form 80. Should I upload a new with corrected Form 80 or use the Form 1023 to inform them about the mistakes? Much appreciated. Marcus
  12. I wish there's a way for us to pin these kind of posts/ information as this is so valuable to many including me something similar to fb so we can return to the info very quickly rather than digging the whole trend.
  13. did they ask you to provide more docs for your 2 year residency stay? I could do that actually. Other idea is to screenshot email thread me looking for a job.
  14. Unfortunately no. For phone I used prepaid, brother's spare car. But on my bank statements, it shows the business addresses which are in Melbourne like groceries and petrol or take aways. Apart from that none.
  15. Morning everyone, Always wanted to ask this question. Do I get in trouble if my proof for the 2 year residency are only bank statements and statutory declaration? I was residing in my brother's place for the since 2011 and only moved out very recently. I didn't have a car under my name and was on prepaid the whole time. To be honest, I can't think of any other documents to provide. My work covers about 18-20 months of 2 years. The other months I was looking for jobs. If this is a weak proof, I'm thinking I will have to withdraw my application and reapply again so then my work covers the whole duration of 2 years which gives me better chance to get a positive result. BTW, I'm on 489 family sponsored visa if that matters. Thank you. Marcus
  16. I think while your 489 visa is still active you must follow all the conditions stated in your visa.
  17. Hi Punnet, Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, what other documents did CO ask for your 2 year residency? Think it would reduce the number of 2nd timers if get everything right the first time. Thank you. Brian
  18. Okay, I'll try to get them all. Thanks Honey.
  19. Hi guys, I admit I'm a little worried about my documents for 2 year residence proof. Since I came here around 2011 until just recently I have been living at my brother's place - free accommodation which means I don't have any proof to show my living expenses - gas, electricity and even with phone bills as I have always been on prepaid. In my application, for residence proof, I only submitted my bank statements and of course my payslips but not exactly 2 years (maybe 1.5 years?) as there were few months I wasn't employed. I feel this may delay my application so it would be great to know if you have any ideas on what else should I submit to prove my residence so I can prepare them now and upload it before my application is opened. I read the spreadsheet to find out but most of them only states what were asked, not what was submitted after the CO request. Thanks as always.
  20. That's good to know. Hoping it does go to that route though. Thanks. Btw, we lodged at the same day. ?
  21. Hi, I got a question re the 887. I'm coming from 489 - family sponsored. Not that I'm being negative but can I still reapply in case my application gets denied for some reason or another? My current 489 visa will expire Feb 2019 and based on the spreadsheet you maintain here the result of my application will be between Oct - November this year that means I will still have 3-4 months to reapply if possible. Thanks everyone. Checking this thread everyday now.
