If anyone has some good hotel recommendations for Seminyak/Legian area please let me know. Would like a hotel on the beach ( I think!) as opposed to a few streets back. Also looking at a few nights in Ubud. Hoping this question is ok for 'travel outside of SA' section!

Would love to come to a city meet up but I'm heading home that week for a couple of weeks. Perhaps the next one if it's a success!

Current Job Market in Adelaide...Pls give some advise...
Louise EP replied to a topic in Jobs, Careers, Vacancies
I work for an engineering consultancy with offices in all the major cities, the market is tough we have halved our staff in our Adelaide office and down to around 100. I can send you a list of a few local companies if you are interested. Below is a link to some market analysis https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/about-us/engineering-labour-market-analysis best of luck. -

If you're looking for a good walking spot not far from the city check out Morialta Conservation Park.

We used 'Floor Busters' for an end of lease clean. Their pricing was excellent.

Hi Mand & Jon, I lived in Port Lincoln for four years joining my partner who is from there. We have been living in Adelaide for the last year and a half as there are more work opportunities for me. Port lincoln is a great place to live, if you don't mind living away from a big city. I do not have kids but the schools are St Joseph's (catholic), Navigators (Lutheran) & Port Lincoln High School (public). Not sure how popular rugby is in SA....but there are lots of sports clubs in Lincoln, it's one of the main ways to socialise! I think it's really a great place for families who want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy an outdoors lifestyle. I know of 4 English families that are on sponsored visas, so there is a mini contingent!! Generally all the kids love it. If you have any questions I would be happy to help. Do you have any other towns to choose from?

How about Black Point, Yorke Peninsula. It is a bit over 2hrs though.

Hi Curlie, where in country SA are you? I spent my first four years in Port Lincoln so I have a good idea how you feel!!!

I live in Marden right near linear park & about 8 mins walk to the Klemzig Obahn bus stop, connections to the city are great! I agree with above poster it does have an older vibe. for east of the city it seems a good value place compared to some of the neighbouring suburbs in the east. Happy to answer any more questions.
