For the record, many followers here used that “letter from institution stating that the medium of instruction is english” without IELTS and got grant.   Can anyone please provide me a format or the sample of that ?

Hi Everyone ! Just a quick one. Does anyone know the format of what to write in the content of the letter if we have to get a letter from the University for the english proof of my wife? 

You completed a degree, a higher degree, a diploma or a trade certificate in an institution in or outside Australia that required at least two years of full-time study and all instructions were in English
 

Can anyone share the format for this letter?

@Akie..I had a few certified overseas (in India though!!) I went through a lawyer that works at the Supreme Court of India. Just sign in front of them and have them certify and do not forget to have a postal stamp attached and stamped too..!!

@Bhavishya I don't have anyone working in supreme court. Can I get it certified that it's a true copy by a person who works as a lawyer in Lower court in my hometown? 

Does it need to notary also or only a true copy stamp?? 

Hi Guys,  Does anyone know if we fill the Commonwelath of australia declaration , Can that be certified / Attested  by an overseas lawyer if that person is writing the declaration in overseas?

@Mirza Could you please let me know what docs you provided? did u get 489 subsequent direct grant ??  how much time it took for you to get the grant ?

@JSINGH Also wanted to ask did u make the payment initially or after u got the PCC ?   SEE BELOW 

PCC for foreign passport holders: Application from foreign nationals will be accepted only on pre-approval basis and issuance of PCC is subject to clearance/verification from concerned authorities (In this cases, do not make Online Payment for your application).

you have to fill application form, go to VFS office, submit your passport and photos etc.  They will post your passport along with the letter (PCC).

@JSINGH Thats great. Can I collect the passport and PCC in person by going to their office. Do they keep original passport with them till we get PCC ? I am based in melbourne

Hi Guys, Quick question for guys from india who got the 887 grant or are still waiting:-

how long does it take to get PCC if we apply in australia through VFS global.??  I am just concerned if we submit original passport how safe is it to give original passport to them ?  How much time they take to give PCC if we collect it in their office.  Anyone knows the process?  If I go to the VFS office do i get PCC there only ?

Primary applicant:

1. Tenant agreement.

2. First and last utility bill( power and gas)

3. All bank statement from start to application date.

4. All payslips and contract for one year work in designated area.

5. Employer performance development plan

6. All training in Australia 

7.Contract of present employer.

8. Identity- passport, driving licence, all credit cards,TFN , TAX return statements, super statement including rollover statements.

9. PCC- Only federal police clearance . We didn't travel overseas so provided self character declaration attested from JP, driving account page from website indicating no infringement or demerits which I posted every 3 months till I got 887 .

Note:Federal police clearance got expired during processing. 

No English test.

 

Spouse:

1. Leter from university mentioning that the medium of instruction was English.

2. Nearly 6 months pay slips , TFN, super, tax return, passport

3. PCC same as above.

No English test

@RANJU  does that mean I dont have to get new PCC even if i had uploaded it 2 years back when I got 489 ? Does my wife also need new PCC or just federal police clearance is enough. I have travelled overseas for 4 weeks twice. Do i need to provde new PCC for me and my wife ?

Hope do not need to repeat the standard documents which required.

But i took safety measures as follows which could be help every one.

My passport was due to expire on 28th May 2019. So i renewed my passport and uploaded on early April.

Our AFPs were expired then renewed and uploaded them.

PCC were expired but did not renew them since we have not travel after applied for 887.

Submitted my wife's new IELTS results.

I have fulfilled the minimum requirement only for work requirement ie., one year fulltime. But recommended not to take chance.Also,never changed parent  name in the application. Previous comment English ability for spouse( attached letter from university that the medium of instruction was English).

@RANJU  HI Mate, Could you please tell me the list of docs you uploaded. Does the Main applicant and secondary applicant also have to give PTE after 2 years of expiry  if PTE is 2 years old.  how about PCC. I had given PCC only when I got my 489. Do I need to upload new PCC again ?

HI Guys, Anyone who has indian passport applied for PCC in australia ? how much are the charges for indian PCC if we are in australia?  Do they take original passport while applying for PCC or jsut take photocopies ? 

Hi guys a quick question in regards to 887. 

Once my wife is in australia on 489 sebsequent, Can I immediately lodge 887 and add her in the application? What docs do I have to provide as she wont be added in any of my bills or anything else nor she wont be having any australian proof that time.  Any advice ? 

@Russki   Hi guys, I just spoke to one MARA agent about 887 application. What he said to me is that I can get my wife to australia on visitor visa and once she is in australia I can add her in 887 application. Is that True ?  Just confirming as I am confused now.  I was of the impression that she needs 489 subsequent first and then only I can add her in 887. Can experts please clarify this for me

PCC, PTE or English ability, medicals, joint bank statements, photos of marriage and photos with friends and family, call records, whatsapp conversations, facebook status, statutary declaration from wife's parents and my parents, a hand written letter by you and your wife ( how you met and how relationship developed), joint bills,  flight tickets, hotel bookings, train tickets, anything which has you and your wife's name :).
