    Moving to Australia with PKU

Hello, I'm completely new to this, so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Myself, husband and 3 kids (4th on the way) currently live in Glasgow and are considering a move to Australia. We are not sure on where yet and are just trying to gather as much information as we can from likeminded people who have done this before. We have no preference on where we would go to live and work, however our two youngest children have a metabolic condition called PKU, which requires them to have regular check up's with a metabolic team and follow a strict low protein diet. With us having no real preference on where we would stay, we are looking to speak with any families who have someone with this condition who have made the move and what it has been like compared to living in the UK. How easy is it to order and receive low protein foods? What is the care like for children with PKU? How easy is it to receive care for the children? Any information regarding living in Australia with PKU and the system involving that would be really appreciated to help us make a very big decision for our family. Thank you ! Aimie
