Hi, I am the assistant coach of the Cove Amateurs Football team (soccer). Myself and the coach Allan (both Scots), emigrated here in 2006 and now run the Amateur team of the Cove. We have a senior and reserve team who play on Saturdays 1pm & 3pm KO times. Last season, both teams came 2nd in their Div 4 SAASL leagues and gained promotion to Div 3. Our home games are played at Capella Reserve in Hallett Cove. We are a diverse group, mainly made up of English, Scots, Aussies and have players varying in age from around 18 up to 52! We are a social group but are also a highly competitive team when we cross that white line. As we step up a division, we are looking for new, decent players to meet the challenge as we try to progress going forward. If you are currently playing, looking to get back into it or are new to Adelaide (South) and are interested in playing for us, then please come along to training, Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6.30 - 8 pm at at Seaview High School, 78-124 Seacombe Road, Seacombe Heights SA 5047.
