    Touch A Truck

Tonnes of fun at Touch a Truck If your child gets excited every time they see a truck, then they’re going to love the City of Onkaparinga’s Touch a Truck event. The free event — held on Friday 26 April from 10am until 2pm at the Colonnades Shopping Centre carpark in Noarlunga — gives children and families the chance to explore all the fascinating vehicles that work around the community every day. It’s an interactive, outdoor event where children can sit in the cabins, honk horns and climb into large construction equipment. Approximately 30 trucks and vehicles will be on display including a waste truck, cat loader, cherry picker, chipper truck, excavator, grader and street sweeper. While the event is about giving kids the chance to see all these amazing trucks in one place, it’s also an opportunity to learn about how council’s City Operations team works. People can meet the men and women behind the wheels of these impressive vehicles and ask questions. There will also be face painting and jumping castles, and stalls on waste education and sustainability to name a couple. It’s set to be an exciting day for little truck enthusiasts and also those young at heart. To stay up to date visit http://bit.ly/Touch-a-Truck-event Touch a Truck When: Friday 26 April from 10am to 2pm (during school holidays) Where: Colonnades Shopping Centre car park, Noarlunga (enter off Goldsmith Drive at the Honeypot Road intersection)
  2. Hi Everyone We are moving into our first Australian mortgage house this weekend (Friday 24th / Saturday 25th July) and we are giving away a free Queen Size Mattress and Bed Frame if anyone is interested, if you live from Fulham Gardens going South via Tapleys Hill Road, Brighton Road, Lonsdale Road then I should be able to drop it off whilst we are moving to Sheidow Park this weekend, we also have a small coffee table and two glass bedside cabinets and possibly one or two nice black trendy book/ornaments/pictures tall stands. Nothing amazing looking but may help some family who have just moved over and do not have some stuff they require. Inbox me and I will reply to you, if able to deliver it will be sometime late Saturday or Sunday morning, if no response I will drop them off at the rubbish dump this Sunday. We are downsizing that's all. I look forward to anyone's response, sorry for those who live up North East, its a pain in the ar....se moving as probably aware and travelling out of my way just adds to the stress, but then again I would be going to the dump in Wingfield if no one wants the stuff - so if that's on the way from Fulham Gardens then I could drop it off. Tony

    Free mattress

Hi, I have a memory foam mattress that I no longer need. Queen size (UK King size). Free to a good home lol. It would be ideal for a temp measure until your stuff arrives from the UK or as a guest mattress. I can even throw in a couple of sheets to keep you going. Must pick up as I have no way of delivering. Thanks, Nicole xx
