Job Seeker Sessions FREE Free job seeker sessions sponsored by City of Marion and funded by ACE and Community Partnerships, DFEEST, starting Friday 1st April 9.15 for 9.30 (see below for how to book). These sessions are for job seekers who really want to find employment and who would appreciate help and advice with regard to resume writing, job search techniques – including using the internet, networking to find the hidden jobs and interview skills. Each participant will need to commit to attending each session and completing an additional three hours of job search activities each week (from 1st April until 24th June or until you find employment). All the details are below, including our contact details if you have any questions. Location: Committee Room 1, Marion Council, 245 Sturt Road, Sturt (4 minutes walk from Marion shopping centre) Dates and Times: There are 8 sessions – please write these in your diary Friday 1, 8 & 15 April Friday 6, 13 & 27 May Friday 10 & 24 June Sessions will start at 9.30am with registration from 9.15am, sessions finish at 12.30. Tea and coffee: You can make tea and coffee on the premises (you will need to wash and dry your cups/spoons and put things away). What to bring: Please bring a pen with you and if you have a resume please bring that with you (printed on paper). Parking You can park in the Council /Cooinda community centre car pars free of charge. Who is running the sessions? Bridget Hogg from HR Development at Work will be the lead facilitator.
