Hi we are just about to get the ball rolling to move to S.A and are thinking about state sponsorship.

I had a look on the website regarding it and it mentions about money you will take with you.

We will only be putting the house on the market when we have been granted a visa will they take that money into consideration or do you need ready money in the bank?

Thanks

Hi Again

For the three of you you need to have $35,000 with $10,000 in cash/savings and the rest can be assets eg car, house. We have submitted everything to the Govt and have not been asked to prove anything. The bank signed our financial proforma but we didn't have to prove we had the funds.

Hope this helps.

Tracey

Hi, we just went to a solicitor with the financial proforma completed and took a statutory declaration (i think that's what it was called) where we had to swear what was on the form was true and the solicitor signed to say we had taken this declaration to say we had $10k in savings and the rest in assets. We didnt need to show the solicitor bank statments/ house valuation etc. And this was accepted fine. Good luck
