Hi all, just waiting now for a case worker for our visa app but wondering if anyone can give me any info on what the engineering is like in SA, esp near to adelaide its self. I'm a Mechanical Engineer by trade but prefer hands on jobs like maintenance/welding production jobs. Any info would be gratefully appreciated.

Ya did things right.

 

Manufacturing is not healthy here at the moment to say the least a god job will be hard to find in that sector right now.Could well improve in the next few years though.

I reckon his country will bounce back quicker than most:)

 

How's sunny Halifax???

I'll be visiting sunny Baildon soon for a family visit.

Thought it was struggling as there haven't been many jobs on the websites but we are planning on moving over in a year or two any way.

Halifax is having its usual summer, brollies at the ready but the ducks are enjoying it.
