Anyone used Voovit?

Hi folks

Trying to work out who to use to send just a few pieces, ie Wii, all the photos, coats and some personal bits. Voovit have a really good price although not delivered to your door.

Has anyone used them and do you collect your boxes from Port Adelaide?

Hi, we used voovit to bring five boxes of personal stuff, they sent me an email to let me know the ship had arrived with the boxes and to wait a few days while it went through customs. Also had pay for boxes to be released at port and for customs to check the boxes because we had some items made of wood. Once the boxes had been released we had to declare first at customs at port adelaide and then had to collect them from holding place which was not that far from the port, in all had good service from voovit just a bit of messing about to pick the boxes up.

Thanks for that. Maybe paying a bit more for door to door is worth it then as only got two tea chests to send.

All the shipping company's supply you with them, most deliver free of charge if you are close to their routes. There is Anglopacific and Excess Baggage which do door to door.

All a bit mind numbing, trying to get everything sorted.
