Hello All

My husband and i are very close to getting our visa's. We have applied for a 176 visa.

We are waiting to be allocated a case worker from the DIAC.

I have a few questions and just wondered if any one could help?

 

How long from this point, are we looking at for our visa's to arrive?

We are looking to move to Adelaide. Any suggestions on areas?

As for the questions its like asking how long is a piece of string!

Some visas come through quick some slow. Its just luck of the draw. Could be a month or two.

As for areas everyone says something different. Some city, south and north. It all depends on what you want. You are the only ones who can decide. We love it in the north and are now moving further out, while others love the south, its an individual choice you need to make.

Ian is as usual spot on. I would plan on getting short term rental for 4-6 weeks and spend some time driving around and exploring. See for yourself. When we were in your shoes, so to speak, we hadn't even considered living in Woodcroft. Now we are here we wouldn't be anywhere else. Come see and then decide. Good luck.
