Hi All

We have been to the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital today for meggies 2/12 check up and boy do they rock. They gave us not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 bits of good news

1. The BEST Meggie's eye sight has remained stable since we stopped patching 2 months ago so their will probably be no need to start her patching again. 4_17_211.gif

2. The Dr who was checking Meggies contact lense recons her PHPV wont result in her failing the meddical 36_1_34.gif

3. Her contact lenses (£30 every 2/52) will be availaible on medi-care as their is a clinical need because she is aphacic 36_1_33.gif

4. Most of the opthalmic Drs in AU have done some training at the RMEH and so will be aware of her type of treatment and her consultant and if they have been to the UK recently may well have seen her notes as she has done so well. She also said she can get us more imformation closer to the time WooooHooo 4_1_209.gif

Hope you all had as good a day as us It was definatly the hours drive their and back and sitting their for 3 hours for all that good news
