    Hi all

I found out today I have a new job starting in Jan. As most of you will know I managed to get a temp job until xmas on double the money I earned back in UK. Today I found out I have my dream job pat time and yes for less money than I am on now but better than UK. My best pal here said I am a jammy bugger since I got here.

I dont think thats it - I just don't give up and I keep looking all the time. I believe in Kismet

This post is for all of you out there thinking "I can't gt a job, etc. Don't give up.

    keep trying guys

    good Luck, Lisa

To follow on from this post - I have also been requested to stay on and consult with the firm I have my contract with - which I have said yes. Ilove it there but also want to do my new job ( I fly to Sydney to meet the team next week)

OH was also headhunted last week at a social function he attended. He turned this down as he likes where he is but the guy said if he changed his mind to give him a call

I am a legal librarian and OH is an Insolvency Solicitor - we came here on a 475

Before we came we joined every professional/trade body we could here and did huge amounts of research in our specialisms.

It wasn't plain sailing but I firmly believe you need to get out there join whatever body your profession belongs to and network

This is what we did - and it has paid off. I did this from the minute we began our Visa process

    There are jobs out there

    Lisa
