    Hi Sush,

Around Adelaide i doubt your never more than 15mins from a golf course. During our recent reccie part of what i was interested in was golf courses in my role as the the secretary of the recently formed PIA Flaming Galahs. I had to report back to the team.

Best advice is to look on Google Earth maps when u can zoom in on any areas and find where they are. Also on Adelaide Bound you will find a link to many a golf course. From what i found out costs are very cheap compared to the uk. The society is looking forward to many a round when out there and a drink and barbie session after.:jiggy:

Well good luck when you do go. We hope to be there mid next year as well, by which time the rest of the bandits will be there as well from the society. You cant miss us. one can play, one says he cant but obviously can, one attacks old ladies and one, well you cant miss the shorts:biglaugh:

I have played a number of courses in and around Adelaide, probably the best being Blackwood.

The one at Belair national park is quite interesting, as you see lots of wildlife mainly birds on the way round. The last time I played in February we had wild emu's strutting around. Be aware though, the courses are generally not like the ones in England, and are a bit scrubby, often with a lack of grass in some areas due to the weather. Hopefully these will be better in their Winter time, when they get some natural water.

    Ian,

Yeah Stoo's shorts were well :goofy:. You did say you couldn't play and obviously can. ;) However I don't remember Graham attacking old ladies.:P
