887 granted today

Doing the daily check of our visa application status today and instead of the 'being processed further' text it stated 'approved'.

 

We lodged in mid December but then got an email asking for updated UK police checks because the ones from our 495 had expired, and we didn't get these back until back end of Jan, so not too long a wait.

 

In a week where many people have had awful news about their applications because of rule changes, it seems a bit strange having our permanent residency granted.
