thought someone had asked about this on here the other day, but I can't find anything on search, so it may have been on Adbrits.

 

If you want to race there is Southern Vets, and there are a few clubs around, if you are up for meeting a few people to ride with, my husband runs a ride on saturday mornings from our shop, I have just cut and pasted details.

 

Had 3 new riders last week, but the number still seems to be hovering around 12-14 per week, although there are about 20 regulars now, just not all come out every week, hoping it will grow, but know this week will be quieter because of the start of the grand slams on sunday.

I don't think anyone from on here comes, but to let you know if you are interested, the Saturday morning bikes have moved meeting point as we have moved shop.

 

Now meet at Tailwind Cycles, Shop 1, Lucas Street Shops, 40-44 Blackburn Street, Reynella

Same time - 7.30am

Same duration - about 1½ hours

must have mechanically sound bike and be fit to ride at about 28km/hour All welcome, there is a good number starting to come out, with the last few weeks averaging about 14 riders.

We live in Brighton, and my husband also rides with the Southern Vets, which seems to be the best of the southern clubs. He also often goes for the Cobwebs ride on Saturdays which is a more casual ride organised by Bicycle SA (he has some friends who ride with the cobwebs) - that one departs and finishes in Glenelg so may be too far for you. If you are interested in more serious racing then PM me and i can put you in touch with the hubby.
