6 weeks in and a yearning for 'english' sausages - help!

Kanmantoo Bacon Co. Pork and Sage. Nothing else comes close to a Lincolshire sausage.

 

 

where do you get them from??? I have had Kanmantoo bacon and it is delish so can imagine how good the sausages are !!!

The butcher on Collins Parade does fab Old English Pork sausages. I found the ones from Southgate Plaza miles too salty. Meatworks at South Rd, Morphett Vale is a close second for sausages and the best for other meats.

Kanmantoo, on a thursday or friday as that is when he makes them. They only keep three days if you don't freeze them though (no preservatives added).

Do we need to drive to Katmantoo to buy these? Is there a butcher there? I have a day off tomorrow so I can take my parents out for the day in search of these...

 

Thanks to everyone for all the replies - I printed this thread off and gave it to my parents and they have been working their way through the suggestions and having lots of fun. It's a great way to explore Adelaide too!

in newton there is a sausage factory that does proper english sausages and a varity of different ones good luck in ya search!

The hallett cove foodland has great english pork sausages in called 'Yorkies'....my otherhalf likes only those!

 

Or the butcher at Flagstaff Hil has good ones!

Tried different ones but have to agree - 'Yorkies' from Hallett Cove Foodland are the best sausages around. Lots of fat in them though, but that's what makes them tasty:biglaugh:
